The T-shirt is great! Anyway you don't get much for $ 225 these days.

My son - another big Lou fan especially for MM3 (he's a noise freak) - is aghast and appalled at the concept of Lou charging for a "meet and greet". Must say, it is a bit odd especially as fervent fans (ie us) will already have bought Creation of the Universe and, like Bobby, I have already bought my ticket. Still, if I had a spare $225....

He's got to earn his money some place. Guess not many people bought the MM3 album (but all those who did went out and started their own avant garde noise-trio :-p )

ha,ha,ha, Bobby......hilarious, but still, paying for a "meet and greet" ? get the fuck out of here! lol! doesn't sound very punk rock to me! only lame ass euros would go for that sort of thing! can you imagine Lou doing this in the states?........i mean c'mon nobody would show up!..........i say boycott that kind of shit. what ever happen to fan appreciation? the reason that Lou and other artists can do their thing is precisely because of fans who support them and buy all their stuff. effectively fans are goodwill ambassadors who promote artists careers. isn't that enough?

No that's over the spot funcity, guess this has something to do with the re-release of Metal Machine Music, so they INVITING TO a kind of release party after the concerts, and people an opportunity to join, maybe meet Lou for the first time: meet & greet sounds to my ears more like an american thing, have never seen it in EU, expect where there have been sponsoring involved, but in that case they have already paid beforehand, - I wonder how many would be interested, if zero then Lou maybe have an urgent personal issue to CANCEL. - yeah? --- It has been seen before. :???:

I think only this:
All dress as orangutans
All your guests will run and scream
with their mouths agape
And try to hide
And you Sire will have last laugh
For such imperial cunning

That's typically what it means, but in Lou's case it's probably safest not to assume you'll be "guaranteed" anything.

Hej, this is a fair offer, Lou don't know how many will bid on - so it's not a fortune, but I know that pretty many people pay to-day to play for theirs tudors, actors, musicians, writers etc. etc. - you name it, to get recognized , - no doubt this is sincerely meant from Lou to his fans, and I think the only way to organize it, if you want this to happens, is that you pay for it --- yes I would gladly go for it...I don't expect that cameras and recorders will be aloud, since many stars can not give this permission themselves... I hope they make an exception.

If only they have doing the same thing for the Berlin tour last 2 years, i would happily pay that kind of money for the show, the remaster, meet & greet and a t-shirt.
But i can't pay a cent for something i hate (i mean MMM, not Lou of course)
I just hope he won't play "The Bells" next year, because this is the only other Lou album i don't like at all ;-)
Who knows ?

I had to check lou reed.com just to make sure this wasn't a joke. What a rip off.

Incredible items??
Meet and Greet??
$225???
Where does he think he's coming from? Anyone prepared to pay good money to see MMT would probably buy all that stuff anyway. So how much are you paying for the dubious pleasure of (presumably) shaking ol' grumpy's limp wrist and having the opportunity to tell him how much you enjoyed it? What happened to the old "hang around the stage door" approach?

That's not rock and roll, baby: I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
